A girl needs to indulge (well, this one does!)

I had to go to Brigg today so I called in at Lidl, bought a pack of their Deluxe Scottish Beef Burgers and a pack of seeded buns and this is what happened. 
With a gherkin, a couple of leaves of lettuce and some mayo mixed with horseradish my longing for a burger was satisfied.

 And McDonald's wouldn't have served it on a Haddon Hall plate!

    I love your Hadron Hall plate. No you wouldn't have got the plate or that amount of lettuce or gherkin. Glad you enjoyed it.

    Yummy. I've just pickled some gherkins from the Poly House so looking forward to tasting those after they have sat for a couple of weeks.

      It's one of a huge set which I have been collecting since I was 18. In other words, just a couple of years;)
